Signing as witnesses to their marriage were Timothy Collins and Michael Collins.2 
(Husband) Death22 April 1895Jeremiah became a widower when Kate (Hannifin) Falvey died of hemiplegia syncope on 22 April 1895 at about age 37. Jeremiah was with her when she died.3,2 
Census Ireland 1901*1901Jeremiah was enumerated on the 1901 census at 36 Richmond Road, Drumcondra. He was a widower, 52 years of age, born in County Kerry and worked at an Inland Revenue Excise Branch. Six of his children were enumerated with him. Katie was 19, John 17, Mary 16, Emily 14, Maggie 13 and Eileen was 9. Katie, John, Mary and Emily had all been born in England, and Maggie and Eileen in Dublin. All of the family were Roman Catholic and could read and write. The children were all "at school". Fannie Law also resided with the Falvey family in 1901 as their housekeeper. She was married, 39 years of age, had been born in England and was Church of Ireland.4
