Elizabeth's mother, Mary (McFadden) Wallis, also resided with the family in 1870. She was 66 years of age and also at home.4 |

Florence, Evaline and Artimissa Marlow were ages 6, 4, and 1 year, respectively, and not yet in school or working, and William, Samuel, John and Lizzie Lee were ages 13, 12, 10 and 8 years, respectively. The boys, William, Samuel and John had all attended school within the census year, while Lizzie had not.6 |
