The family's second enumeration was the following day in Township 31, Range 3 East, also in Iron County. They may have been in the process of moving, and we suspect the person interviewed different, because the information recorded about the family members differs slightly between the two census records. On the earlier census taken in Township 35, Cincinnati was 8 years old and at home.5
(Daughter) Census US 187028 June 1870The second 1870 census enumeration of Cincinnati Marlow, in the household of her parents, was taken on 28 June 1870 in Township 31, Range 3 East, Iron County, Missouri. She was 9 years old, at home, and had attended school within the census year.3

Census US 1880*11 June 1880Cincinnati and James Hubble were enumerated on the 1880 census taken on 11 June 1880 in Des Arc, Iron County, Missouri. James was 26 years of age and a farmer, and Cincinnati was age 19 and keeping house. Two children, William and Henderson, ages 2 years and 3 months old, respectively, were with the couple in 1880, as well as James's grandmother, Mary Wallis, who was 73 years of age and at home.8

George was 25 years of age and a day laborer, and Cincinnati was 37 years of age. They rented their house, had been married for three years and Cincinnati had given birth to eight children, all from her first marriage, and five of whom were living. Four of Cincinnati's surviving children were enumerated in the Hotton household in 1900. Ernest Hubble was 16 years old, no longer attending school, and worked as a day laborer; Ara Hubble was 14 years old and had attended school for 5 months of the census year; and Ethel and Everett Hubble, ages 11 and 8 years, respectively, had both attended school for 6 months of the census year. They had been married for 13 years, the first marriage for James and the second for Cincinnati, and she had given birth to ten children, five of whom were living. Two of her children from her first marriage and the couple's daughter were enumerated in their household in 1910. Ernest and J. Everett Hubble, ages 25 and 18 years, respectively, both worked as laborers in a lath mill, and Zorrah was 8 years old and had attended school with the census year.10
